EaSWay is a California native dominating with a West Coast hip hop sound. The artist is originally from San Francisco, but currently resides in LA while attending USC while pursuing his music career. This week homie dropped an introspective anthem titled, “Lessons” produced by kamYaar and EaSWay himself.

The intro begins with melodic piano chords and a trap sounding hook. EaSWay’s chorus is reminiscent of Russ’s most catchy of melodies with a touch of K Dot's storytelling aspect in his lyricism. In today's rap game, many artists pick their poison and run with it. Few master the art of my favorite new found genre – rapsing – where the artist is technically rapping while flowing in a song type cadence. EaSWay seamlessly excels at this sound. So well that it’s almost hard to distinguish a distinct hook for this track cause the whole thing gets stuck in your head. It seems as though EaSWay is digesting the advice that his step grand dad gave him in his youth through his lyrics. Put this track on when you tryna vibe. The anthem is equally suited for a turn up track as it is for the cerebral chill sessions.
If you like what you hear now – which you do, don't play yoself – EaSWay is about to release three more tracks like real soon. And then after those a hefty album in Spring. So don't sleep.
