Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve [Joose]

This is your Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve. We will try to bring you one "chill" track every day. This is for when you get home and you are trying to unwind. You reach for that glass of wine or that unlit Black & Mild or maybe you can reach for something more herbal. This track is for those times. We are just your milkmen and I'm here to make a delivery. Chill…

Astronaut Gang is about to be a problem for every wack group out there. The Michigan based group of rappers and producers have been hard at work this year with projects like The SEVENth's "13th Hour" and Savon's Always And Forever and are poised to be the next big hip hop collective. Although Soulection favourite Sango arguably the most well known memeber of the group, Joose is quickly rising up the ranks and making a name for himself as a well-rounded emcee.

While his latest project, Cruise Control, was a solid listen, we have a soft spot for the Brock Berrigan produced "California Girls." Unlike The Beach Boys song of the same name, this one is a straight hip hop slow burner that is best enjoyed on a breezy Sunday afternoon. Joose's easygoing rhymes involving his penchant for sea side females pairs well with the equally mellow beat that we can't get enough of. For more slick tracks from Joose, check out the rest of Cruise Control on his Soundcloud page. Also, get down with AGO before they become the next big thing.
