DJ and producer extraordinaire Laidback Luke continues to have a prolific 2014, having already completed multiple singles and remixes. LBL now brings his deft touch to Jenaux's gorgeous, synth-laden progressive house track "Turn the World Around." As an edit (and not a remix), LBL does very little to change the original song from a production aspect, but what he does do is quite noticeable. Namely, he trims much of the fat, shortening the original mix by a few minutes, while still retaining Jared Lee's wonderful, evocative vocals. He also adds in an extra syncopated kick on the hook/anthem portion, giving the song a little more edge (and more energy), and of course he throws in many of his signature DJ effects, just for good measure. What remains is a distilled, crisp version of the song that retains all the melodic fun and euphoria of the original. Currently available on Big and Dirty Records, you should check out the track below, and grab yourself a copy on Beatport.
