Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve [shak. + Premiere]

This is your Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve. We will try to bring you one "chill" track every day. This is for when you get home and you are trying to unwind. You reach for that glass of wine or that unlit Black & Mild or maybe you reach for something more herbal. This track is for those times. We are just your milkmen and I'm here to make a delivery. Chill…

Today's special delivery is brough to you by shak. Winter has started with a snowy bang, and it's only a mere nine days until Christmas. So naturally, stress is running a bit high. But there's that overlooked beauty in all the messy weather turnarounds. It's nature's way of giving us an aesthetic makeover, a swift and cold slap of reality. On the contrary, all the snow gives us some peace when we aren't moving about with our lives. Enter shak., (Shakuru Tajiri), an electronic ambient producer that will score your latest soundtrack for your winter adventures.

His latest EP Slow Wonders was released a few weeks ago via Bad Panda Records, which showcases his ambient and chill expertise. Since that release wasn't to long ago, we weren't expecting new material few a little while. But surprise surprise, we at EARMILK have yet another opportunity to give you the first spin of his latest track called "Nothing Is". This particular track as a whole is quite modest. At the very beginning, you dive right into the chilled out ambient effects. This low-key mood coasts throughout the song, with a dreamy, clean guitar giving the song some edge. It's a perfect song to lower your blood pressure to when you are racing around town for last-minute gift shopping. Well, consider this as shak.'s early Christmas present. At this point, you all probably already know the drill by now. But in case you don't, just mindlessly watch the snow fall, and drift…
