Foreign Beggars & Skrillex – "Still Getting It" (VIP Mix)

Today EARMILK brings you the latest VIP mix of Skrillex and Foreign Beggar's single "Still Getting It."  The new and improved track comes even heavier than the original with a new melody that makes the transition smoother from the escalating vocals to Skrillex's usual grime. The VIP mix makes the track sound bouncier and more exciting and has really out shined the original. The second drop also comes as a new sound with a silent drop half way through that builds you right up to a drumstep soundscape. Enjoy.

  • Dranoel you are my favorite blogger on this website, hands down. I usually love every one of your posts, but this? It doesn't even sound like Skrillex, and in a bad way. How this "outshines" the original, I'll never know.

Other than this, you're golden. Keep up the good work.

    • That's awesome Casi! I appreciate your support, but really? You're not a fan? I thought it was so much better then before, what don't you like about it?

  • I'd have to say that this is definitely not "improved" at all. More of a step backwards.

  • There's a part towards the end of every fourth measure in the drop that sounds like a DJ is bumping the deck.  It's not in time (in a BAD way), and IMO pushes this VIP over the edge from bad to almost unbearable.  The original melody was pretty massive, spacial and uplifting and the drop was much more complex and intricate.  Also the part described as drumstep is not.  It's just more just a 4-on-the-floor beat (just the same as the original track) with the same crap melody as the first half of it.
