Introducing: Popeska

random earmilk 7

Don't be mislead by the picture of a glass and jar of milk above. This is no "chillwave" artist, this artist does not make "relaxing tunes." On the contrary, Popeska makes "jump up" style tracks. I'm talking of course about Skrillex's warped style of dubstep that has so many of our heads in a twist with our jaws hanging wide.

So I figured it's enough of me talking about Popeska, I bet you're wondering what all the hype is about anyways? So here's a track to give you your first taste of Popeska. I hope you like it…

Popeska – Knives to a Gunfight

Yep, knew you'd want more…

Popeska is yet another young producer we are seeing right now in the electro music scene. At only 19, he is producing electro-step music that is riveting and exciting for your ears. His music sounds to me like a mix of Wolfgang Gartner and Knife Party. You can hear the high energy electro synths and yet still have the music hopping back and forth with an almost "jump up" style. Popeska is currently on Solfege Records which is owned by electro house producers Liberty!. With such amazing tracks, you know Liberty! chose this artist for good reason. So take a gander at the tracks below…

Popeska – Lololololol

Popeska – Let's Have A Party!!! (Original Mix)

Popeska – Good Times With The Friends (Version 1)

Ellie Goulding – Under The Sheets (Popeska Remix)

Did you like what you heard? Make sure to check out Popeska's Soundcloud and Facebook pages for more free tracks.

  • The term "Jump Up" is already used for Drum&Bass.  I drew a new cartoon that nobody has ever seem before, I'll call it Mickey Mouse.
